PI STRETCH The PI Stretch transfer type is ideally suited for low stretchable fabrics, which can not support a high washing temperature. In general, the garments which need PI Stretch have in their composition a higher content of polyester.
The garments suitable for this type of sealing have in their composition: cotton, cotton rich with polyamide, elastan, polyester, etc.
The main characteristics are: Washable at low temperature: maximum 60° C; Sealing temperature lower then the one for the PI Standard sealing type: between 160° C and 180° C; Suitable for ironing; HOT release; Sealing time varies between 3 and 6 seconds; Pressure: Medium / Heavy, depending on the sealing machine used and also on the plate dimension;
Please note! The general recommended sealing conditions depend on the machine you use and the fabric to be sealed on. A sealing testing session is highly recommended in order to establish the exact condition levels for every garment / machine.
